The Prodigy, Black Sabbath and Metallica to headline Download 2012 !

It's official - Download is back, returning to Donington Park in June 2012, and it's safe to say that 2012 is going to be their biggest year ever.

The Prodigy are coming back to Download in 2012, and have promised to deliver their most energetic and spectacular performance they’ve ever put on at Donington. Following some phenomenal sets in previous years, this is s
ure to be one incredible show.

"We have chosen to headline Download Festival as our only uk festival show next year," said the band on Facebook. "(We) will be playin some new songs for the first time from our next album due later 2012 ........ see you there - Liam, Keef & Maxim".

Metallica will be headlining Saturday night at Download, performing The Black Album in its entirety, whilst the mighty Black Sabbath will be marking their hugely anticipated comeback with a headline slot on the Sunday night at the festival.

Metallica, the multi-million selling, Grammy award winning band will visit Donington for the SEVENTH time in their career, having played both Monsters of Rock and Download festivals during their epic career.

New Designs Refresh the
2012 Guitar Line
Taylor Guitars are excited to kick off the year with a wave of fresh designs as part of
Taylor's 2012 guitar lineup. Among the aesthetic refinements are a beautiful all-wood
appointment package for the Koa Series, a vintage look for the rosewood 700 Series
and theintegration of their nylon-string models with the steel-strings. They also debut
new mahogany versions of their Baritone and 12-Fret models, and unveil a
mahogany-top GS Mini.

New Taylor Website Launches
This year's design refinements weren't confined to their guitar line. They have also
made major renovations to their home on the Web, taylorguitars.com, to create a
new look and a better user experience. They have stocked the site with lots of
useful information about Taylor's body shapes and tonewoods, and now you can
browse their guitars based on shapes, woods, series or guitar categories. They will
be fine-tuning things over the next few weeks, and beefing up their content with
regular blog posts, artist news, and regular updates from the Taylor complex.
They invite you to visit the new site, poke around, and see what you think.

Winter NAMM Preview
The Taylor showcase room is well stocked and the stage is set as the Winter

Listug are on hand, along with a diverse Taylor crew, and everyone is looking forward
to the four-day hang. They will be blogging and tweeting throughout the show, letting
you know which artists are stopping by. Their scheduled performers this year include
the Wayne Johnson Trio, Sixwire, the Silent Comedy, the David Mayfield Parade,
John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Javier Colon (winner of "The Voice"), and Grammy
winner Israel Houghton with his band New Breed.

Wallpaper: The 700 Series
Their newly designed 700 Series evokes a sense of vintage Americana, suggesting
a Taylor guitar transported from another era. A gradually fading sunburst top, inspired
by the acoustic guitars of the 1930s, pairs well with mocha-hued rosewood back and
sides, while the ivoroid Heritage Diamonds fretboard inlay and ivoroid binding honor a
traditional guitar material. An Engelmann spruce top blends overall clarity with a slightly
warmer, mellower character. The subtle overtones add a splash of extra richness that
suits a vintage personality.
